In October of 2009 I was invited by the Institute of Museum and Library Services to attend the Salzburg Global Seminar: Connecting to the World’s Collections: Making the Case for the Conservation and Preservation of our Cultural Heritage, which was held at the Schloss Leopoldskron in Salzburg, Austria, 28 Oct - 01 Nov, 2009.

In 2009 I collaborated with conservators Dan Cull and Ellen Carrlee to spend a week talking about “Conservation 2.0 - New Directions,” via blog posts.
