In 2009 I developed No Preservatives: Conversations about Conservation, a monthly column on Art21 Blog which seeks to define the conservator’s role in the conservation of art in the twenty-first century. Every third Tuesday of the month, I discuss current issues, approaches, and decisions surrounding contemporary conservation projects with leaders in the field.

In October of 2009 I was invited by the Institute of Museum and Library Services to attend the Salzburg Global Seminar: Connecting to the World’s Collections: Making the Case for the Conservation and Preservation of our Cultural Heritage, which was held at the Schloss Leopoldskron in Salzburg, Austria, 28 Oct - 01 Nov, 2009.

By invitation in 2009 I wrote the article Colloborating in the Public’s Domain for CeROart, which is an interactive magazine and platform that is devoted to a multidisciplinary approach to questions of Conservation, exhibition, Restoration of works of Art.
In 2009 I collaborated with conservators Dan Cull and Ellen Carrlee to spend a week talking about “Conservation 2.0 - New Directions,” via blog posts.
